Takes a lot for a grieving family to tell the teammates to keep playing. Divine's family recognizes the pain of the teammates as well since they were there in that day and experienced the trauma firsthand.

@skinxbones_ They knew the law but do they really know how it works? 15 years old and a couple of days na Yung Isa so law can still try and determine if he acted with discernment and can still be tried as an adult if found to have acted with discernment.

@hagardoversusa And propose a bill. This is clearly an accident that no one wanted to happen. They can propose bill and have a senator or congressmen sponsor it called "Baterbonja-Adili Law" requiring the presence of at the minimum 2 trained and equipped lifeguards in private/public beach.

@hagardoversusa And also, since they already took their sweet time in putting out a statement they could have also made sure to let everybody know that they will compensate the families and crate a foundation under the name of the deceased to ensure their legacy.

3. THE KILLING OF RACHEL NIKKEL - This is a heat beaker.Another example of the police jumping in top fast on a suspect and the real perpetrator was then able to kill a mother and daughter.Hope the poor guy was able to collect the damages because he was incarcerated for a year!

2. THE INVESTIGATION OF LUCY LETBY - The police did it all wrong. Same thing as GUT this is trial by public opinion based on what the police has painted the suspect in media or social media. I'm guilty as well I thought this woman was a monster when I read the headlines.

1. GIVE UP TOMORROW - this is not a first watch but still I find myself watching again and again and I am just in shock of how rotten the Philippine justice system is. Forget asking if the Chiong7 really did it but how the trial was conducted is a shame.

@eml_meister Not a scapegoat though. They have the right to refuse customers they knew are a danger to themselves and the business. This is their 4th time booking this place and there has been close calls before yet they still agreed and thought "Wala namang namatay so far" so thet went on.

@_antukien Could not agree more. Rip current is survivable.Daming "if only" dito. If only maraming lifeguards at the surface na pwedeng bumunot sa kanila out of the rip and also if only they took at least 5 minutes to educate the athletes to not panic and don't swim against the rip current.

@_antukien True! Sa resort isisi to. Hati kasi dapat yung accountability. Dapat nagcheck kung safe ba venue to conduct the team building but also the resort is a private property and anything that happens in their property already makes them accountable to some degree.

@_antukien But also, these athletes were there to train so. already andami na nilang iniisip. They were not there for leisure so really it's the powers that be who approved this that has the bare minimum duty of making sure may enough lifeguard to save the boys in dire situations.

@_antukien Surprise! Reality, is people are stupid like that. Watch Bondi Rescue and see how many grown adults get caught in the rip current just because they feel confident in their ability to swim. There are flags and they always say Seon between the flags but they don't listen.

Oh my god! The plot thickens. They are at a resort na walang lifeguard? OK that might be the case but did they hire a safety team though to make sure na walang mamatay na athlete? Bare minimum yung dapat may ready humatak sa kanila out of the rip dahil may weights sa paa ngani.

Regarding sa mga namatay na players ng Ateneo pero rip current yung dumali sa kanila.The bigger question since we are dealing with grown men incapacitated by weights sa paa, is may lifeguard ba and if there are lifeguards enough ba to rescue 4 grown men drowning at the same time.
