Growing up, my dad was the nice one & my mom was the “mean” one. Now that I’m older, I see things diff. My dad is still the best & we baby him like crazy. But my mom, she’s the queen. Hispanic women carry the stress, keep us alive & are the leaders. But I couldn’t do w/o both.
