Raja beta got angry and went to a steep cliff edge on Khavdya Hill, threatening to end his life. Police, parents, and locals spent nearly three hours trying to persuade him to step back.

When his father moved closer to pull him away from the edge, he held his hand, and both lost their balance and plunged into the gorge. Witnessing her husband and son fall, the distraught mother also jumped immediately.

All three died.

The Generational Scam

Gen Z. Millennials. Gen X. Boomers.

We keep dividing people into generations as if a birth year tells us who someone is.

And honestly, I think this is one of the most successful scams we’ve collectively bought into.

Because these labels give us something addictive: a feeling of superiority.

“Gen Z is more aware.”

“Millennials are more hardworking.”

“Gen X is more practical.”

“Boomers don’t understand technology.”

Every generation gets its own stereotype, its own jokes, its own reasons to feel better than the other one.

But what does it actually change?

Your birth year doesn't make you smarter.
It doesn't make you more ethical.
It doesn't make you more capable.
And it certainly doesn't determine how you think.

There are thoughtful 60-year-olds and immature 20-year-olds.

There are incredibly adaptable Boomers, traditional Gen Zs, ambitious Millennials, and tech-savvy Gen Xers.

People are individuals before they are generations.

The real trick is that generational division makes us argue with each other instead of asking better questions:

What do we actually disagree about?

What can we learn from each other?

What problems are we trying to solve?

Maybe “Gen Z vs Gen X” is just another way of turning human differences into content.

And while we’re busy deciding which generation is superior…

the actual world doesn’t care what generation we belong to.

It cares about what we do.

Maybe it's time to stop asking, “Which generation are you?"

And start asking, “What kind of person are you?”
