@joe_carson It's very important to be calm and collected with #security or else you can get easily overloaded & disorganized. #SecurityFatigue

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

That's an excellent article! https://t.co/pPOtBnVa1V

[SailPoint @SailPoint]

Our friend @_MikeKiser wrote a blog about #IoT. 50B devices will be connected in next 3 years https://t.co/YzuR8ezuMP #CyberAwareChat https://t.co/YQ0myTzUqK

Q9: What questions do you have for our #cybersecurity experts? #CyberAwareChat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

@dlpresidente So true. #Hackers are normal people and will try to trick you into getting what they want #conman #SocialEngineering #SmokeAndMirrors

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

@Thycotic A8: #2FA authentication. Using a device to confirm identity #every time to log in stops attackers from accessing your accts #CyberAwareChat

[Accellis @Accellis]

A7: Lead by example. Most importantly let users know that mistakes happen. Failing is how learning happens.

[Joseph Carson - Security Researcher @joe_carson]

A7) #Empower your #employees to #report #cybersecurity #incidents #cyberawarechat

[Joseph Carson - Security Researcher @joe_carson]

A7) #Executives should lead by example #cyberawarechat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

@Thycotic A7: The trick is to talk about it just like #here It's apart of your day to day #life There's nothing #taboo about #security #CyberAwareChat

[Joseph Carson - Security Researcher @joe_carson]

A6) 30 seconds on the internet stays on the internet #cyberawarechat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

And no password chaining allowed! https://t.co/BPjk97Ajpk

[Joseph Carson - Security Researcher @joe_carson]

A5) #Remembering #five #passwords #cyberawarechat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

@Thycotic A6: Absolutely. Breaches prompt me to assess my risk and find if my accts have been compromised. I'm always on the lookout #CyberAwareChat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

"Just patch" is certainly an oversimplification when you must test and stage these production changes to reduce downtime. Need plans & tools https://t.co/hRn0sujURb

[Mike Kiser @_MikeKiser]

A5) Response oversimplification: “Just patch!” “Just use better passwords!” - no one answer for complex problems. #CyberAwareChat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

Sounds like a job for a password vault or #PAM solution to take away that #SecurityFatigue https://t.co/ZIZ11ZwXiy

[Joseph Carson - Security Researcher @joe_carson]

A5) A #password not the same as the last 1000 #pw and must contain 10 numbers, 4 upper case, 5 lower case, 3 symbols, a star #cyberawarechat

[Jessica Sutera @jsutera654]

A4) You can never be 'too' aware today. I will say there is a fine line between being 'aware' and 'paranoid' though #cyberawarechat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

There's too much to process https://t.co/3IjrXT3yRr

[Joseph Carson - Security Researcher @joe_carson]

A5) #Information #Overload #cyberawarechat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

@Thycotic A5: I'm an odd case. Lack of #2FA support on sites has me checking login logs to ensure my accts haven't been compromised #CyberAwareChat

[Thycotic @Thycotic]

Q4: Do you think there’s enough #cybersecurity awareness within organizations today? #CyberAwareChat

[Austin Richards @ahkrichards]

A4: Depends on the org, but #security is everyone's job and shouldn't be put on the back burner. There's always room to grow #CyberAwareChat https://t.co/7o2ulVOlaw
