Used to get a balanced mix of ML, biotech, startups, fitness, anime, finance, and tech shitposts.
Now my feed is just SF tech culture and the Grok promo machine.
Lists help, but maybe I just follow too many people.
It might be time to split into multiple accounts.
@pli_cachete Yup this is also true for children at a young age that are to quick to assume they're dumb when in reality they just need to keep on improving as learners.
The revenue generation will also go to acquire more funding and loans to not only improve the models but also support the hardware research for BCI via Merge Labs, handheld device or AR glasses, Energy infrastructure via Oklo. Improve models while should be at the forefront looks like the Open Source community might take a lead momentarily while they ramping the infrastructure around their models ... the other competitors seem to be on that same page.
Palmer Luckey (@PalmerLuckey) is getting into nicotine.
"Basically, America smoked its way to being the dominant hyperpower. It kept people focused, it kept people fit. It's an appetite suppressant.
"I'm becoming more and more convinced that the health benefits of not smoking have not been properly traded against the health problems caused by the resulting eating."
"I think the crazy version of this is we'd all be better off with lung cancer eventually, but fit until then."
"Is vaping worse than being fat? I don't know. I struggle. Based on the evidence I've seen."
@bubbleboi You need companies to train employees like the 90s and early 2000s that's how you fill up positions in hyper-niche positions like if you needed an HVAC field engineer hyperspecialized in heat exchangers or a lithographic technologist for FSD systems ...
๐จ Googleโs quantum computer solves real problems.
TLDR :
Google Quantum AI has achieved the first ever verifiable quantum advantage with its Quantum Echoes algorithm running on the Willow quantum chip. The algorithm ran 13,000 times faster than the best classical supercomputers and produced results that can be verified and repeated across other quantum systems.
This breakthrough allows the chip to model complex natural systems like molecules with unmatched precision, marking the first step toward real world quantum applications in fields such as drug discovery, materials science, and chemistry.
In partnership with UC Berkeley, Google demonstrated the method on molecules with 15 and 28 atoms, confirming accuracy beyond traditional Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). This milestone brings Google closer to Milestone 3 on its roadmap, developing a long lived logical qubit for scalable, error corrected quantum computing.
I am super excited to announce @Starcloudโs partnership with @CrusoeAI, builder or @OpenAIโs massive Stargate data center, to enabling the first public cloud in space next year. This is the first step in a partnership that will see Starcloud providing energy for much larger Crusoe data centers over the coming years! ๐
Amazing to work with Cully Cavness, co-founder, president and COO of Crusoe who shared share: โBy partnering with Starcloud, we will extend our energy-first approach from Earth to the next frontier: outer space."ย ๐๐
