What a privilege it is working with our wonderful children.💙This afternoon to keep cool we had fun with water. 💦Not really sure who enjoyed it the most?! We certainly needed it in this heat. We made sure that we ‘slip, slap, slopped’ & only stayed out for a limited time.
Amazing concentration and effort this morning in maths. We have been learning about thirds. The children have demonstrated excellent independent skills. 🤓👏
On Monday 10 of our pupils from Robins & Kingfishers went to the @Panathlon multi-skills festival. It was fabulous! Our children had the best time & were a credit to our school. We even got to meet a real life Olympian! Thank you so much. 🏏🥅 @TraffordSSP@AHPEandSport
Our year 5 and 6 children were very fortunate to have a workshop at @WellacreAcademy with @MrsMONeill this morning. The children loved hearing about our local history. Thank you for arranging this @AHMissCook
Linked to our science theme of animals in their habitats we are focusing on insects 🦟 in our art. We started by looking at the different body parts using clay. Next we are going to use our sketching skills.
This week for #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek we held an assembly in the ‘Small Classes’ to discuss ‘emotional growth’. From this we created artwork to show how we have grown and how we want to grow in the future. 😁👏💗
In science we are starting our #Materials topic. Today we are investigating different objects. We are deciding what they are made from, how we can describe them and posing questions about them. 🦠🧬 #Primaryscience
In maths we have been asking staff when their birthdays are so we can use our tally chart to complete block graphs. 📊 We really enjoyed this task!! March was the most popular month.😁
