Students studying ancient Rome used #3Dmodels and #augmentedreality from the Sketchfab platform to deepen their learning and skills in technology (using tablet and phone devices), analysis (comparing sources), and even numeracy (through measuring the height of Roman soldiers!).
Mr Vince Wall (History Teacher) recently published a blog post for @Sketchfab exploring the use of 3D models and augmented reality (AR) in the classroom 💻 To read Mr Wall’s fascinating work, visit https://t.co/cuGexQpG9y Thanks to @NebulousFlynn for his support
Mr Wall is a passionate advocate for the use of such activities as a way to move “beyond engagement” to emphasise learning using technology, such as with his Year 10 History classes #edtech
