While fire activity continues on parts of the North Rim, the bison herds' migratory patterns have allowed them to remain mostly unimpacted, and crews are working hard to ensure it stays that way. Our dedicated fire personnel are actively monitoring the situation to protect both natural resources and wildlife to the best of their abilities. 🚩 In addition to the Red Flag Warning issued by the @NWSFlagstaff for most of northern AZ starting tomorrow, Mohave County is in a Red Flag Warning TODAY, June 19 starting at 11am.

With critical fire weather through this weekend, we ask the public for their assistance in preventing wildfires. Limit yard work to early morning or late evening hours, avoid using items that create a spark, secure trailer chains to prevent them from dragging, dispose of cigarettes properly and follow fire restrictions.
