@freewilllyyyy Two players sharing one buggie is definitely slower than walking, depending on distance from greens to tees.
Every player having their own buggie is probably faster than walking I’d imagine.
@adman1976@NUCLRGOLF Yes for residents in St Andrews you can access 6 or 7 courses all year for about £400. Partly subsidised by Americans coming over and paying about £1k a round
@Jamesy_boy@NUCLRGOLF We do have similar, e.g. Wentworth, Queenwood, JCB etc for those who want that and can afford it. But at least the average punter can join a club, play when they want, play comps etc for a reasonable price here. Seems like this is out of reach for most in the USA.
@secretclubprov Wouldn’t bother me at all. If there are two open spaces you have to expect they’ll be filled. Golf is a social game.
If you want no one else with you book a four ball..
@MailSport@Ian_Ladyman_DM@CraigHope_DM Would Klopp or Guardiola have achieved more than Eddie from November 2021 to now, inheriting the same group of players? I highly doubt it.
@implausibleblog I think if Big Ben or St Paul’s burnt down we would have the national will, skills and resources to repair it. A few billionaires may even chip in to help fund it. Not really a comparable example.
