@AzPetrich I look at it a completely different way.
Elon is improving humanity, and our collective chance of survival, WITHOUT trying to aggrandize himself or be narcissistic. He doesn't need buildings named after him. That would be selfish.
@cavannastan This is something I truly believe about @elonmusk:
If you presented him with any problem for humanity that money could actually "solve," he would write such a check. He is singularly focused on humanity.
That's what upsets me about all the outrage about his trillionaire status.
In all the left outrage, it is barely mentioned that the first trillionaire was created by innovating and building things. Creating value.
Not from a person investing in markets and hedge funds and NGOs and leaching value.
Huge difference which we should appreciate.
It would dilute the stock if he gave every single person one share, but you might be on to something.
Then everybody would have a stake in what he builds and might shut up about how much he makes by creating a better future for everyone.
Based on my feed, the silence might be worth it.
@mitchellvii@elonmusk Exactly this. He is the person I would trust with a trillion dollars to benefit mankind more than anyone else.
Does he even own a house? You never see him flaunt his wealth for personal gain.
Her earns it by building. He doesn't hoard it.
Elon improves all of our lives.
@brianeskow Unlike many billionaires that buy yachts and houses, my expectation is that @elonmusk will continue to use his money to better mankind and move us all forward.
He really is the last person you can accuse of abusing wealth! Shame on those that do.
If the socialists had their way, Elon would have had his paypal profits taken and redistributed for the greater good.
The world would never have seen Tesla, nor SpaceX.
And the world wouldn't know it, because they were uncreated, and thus unseen.
Imagine the companies that don't exist, because Washington destroyed them before they were born.
@TheLaikYobaz He's trying to....have you wait until it is finished! This is a temporary interim state of construction. Not just "practically" a construction site.
How disingenuous.
@NotMikeHarlow To further your analogy, it's as if you came back a first time and said it came back heads 45% of the time. Then went back to the room, came out and said it came back heads 95% of the time... And I owe you money.
@SpencerDevino@Google Suggestion: everyone concerned about this should ask Gemini how to remove it or give feedback. There is no opt out and it's being pushed to the screen for a month? @Google needs to be made aware.
@GovPressOffice To use the colloquialism, he has a lot of "irons in the fire".
There are a number of major issues, not the least of which is wrapping up the Iran war, on his plate.
Trump has been more accessible than any President. But he may be prioritizing them over his "camera-loving".
@RealJamesWoods We don't allow ID in Maryland either, but we do need to provide a valid name and address. Hypothetically, how would people get that?
Do you not have to at LEAST say who you supposedly are? If not, that's insane. What would stop someone returning four times on election day?
@kylenabecker "Break their spirit."
Hakeem has completely lost the point of public service, and of trying to improve the country for ALL Americans.
Different perspectives are fine. Disagreement is ok.
Treating any citizen as an enemy is not.
