I’m a dad figuring out AI as it shows up in real life.
Testing ideas, building small systems, and trying to understand how it’s changing the way we think.
Learning in public.
Curious > certain.
I’ve spent months building systems to stay organized.
My daughter just screams when she needs something.
Her success rate is currently much higher than mine.
I heard something yesterday that said something along the lines of...
sometimes the dream survives because it never leaves the planning stage. Reality is where the dream has to earn its place.
and it hit close to home. It’s easy to live in the planning stage under the guise of perfectionism.
If you have something to start, start it. Something to ship, ship it.

@MattTrifilo@icanvardar "Two little mice fell into a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned, but the second mouse, he struggled so hard that he eventually churned that cream into butter and he walked out." *in my best Christopher Walken voice*
@RoyInProgress Honestly, I don't. I stay in my lane, try to avoid FOMO, and listen to podcasts or watch YouTube videos by people who know more than I do and hope that's enough.
