Part One: "The Legend"

In ancient times, when myths and legends were an inseparable part of people's lives, that's when the story of automatons originated. It is said that in the depths of ancient Greek forests, where shadows stretched in long strips under the moonlight and secrets hidden from the eyes of mere mortals were born, among those secrets was the art of creating automatons - incredible mechanical creations that lived and acted at the will of their creators.

Legend has it that the first master who managed to give life to the inanimate was Daedalus - a great inventor and architect, whose name is shrouded in many myths and stories. He created many wonders, but the greatest of his creations were the automatons, mechanical servants made with such artistry that they seemed alive.

However, the true origin of automatons goes even deeper into the times when gods walked the earth alongside people, and technology and magic were inseparable. It is said that it was Hephaestus, the god of fire and blacksmithing, who was inspired by the idea of creating mechanical assistants that could serve the gods on Olympus. These creations were so perfect that they could move and act independently, becoming the first automatons in history worthy of their name.

Over time, the secrets of creating automatons became available to mortals as well. Hero of Alexandria, a great scientist and inventor, used the knowledge passed down through the ages to create his automatic theater. This was a marvel of engineering of that time, demonstrating that the human mind is capable of creating great things.
