I always think about this scene in welcome to samdalri where Ji Changwook’s line delivery was so good it moved Shin Haesun to real tears and the director decided to keep it as part of the Final Cut. 🥹
“it seems like the sky doesn’t give me the things i want, but it keeps giving me gifts at moments i never expect"
i tend to have thoughts like that pretty often too 🥺
Surah Ad-duha makes us realise how useless overthinking is because Allah reassures us that He has not abandoned us. No matter how long He may take to answer your dua, He will always be there. It teaches us that this life is nothing compared to the next life.
I feel so emotional when I think about how low my imaan is and how weak my relationship with Allah is Yet He still never fails to bless every single day. Alhmdulillah.
DON’T JOKE WITH THIS DUA: Ya Allah, remove every barrier that stands between me and the things You have written for me. If there's any delay in my rizq, in my marriage, or in my peace, ya Allah, remove it with Your mercy, Ameen!
The way he excitedly move his hand forward even before reaching her? the way she hold his hand & hugged him? 11 years of precious bond & it is still going strong .. mikyung is indeed his spiritual mother 🥹
Two years of marriage and the only piece of advice that I will remember is from my dad. Your purpose in this world is to please Allah swt, your marriage is another means in which you get to please Allah. Treat is as you treat your other forms of ibadah, be present, patient&
Today was a very special day for us in Gaza.
My family and five other families I care for finally had chicken after such a long time. 🍗
It may seem simple to some, but for us, it was a dream come true after years of hardship.
Today, we felt a rare kind of joy — the joy of food mixed with gratitude and hope.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this smile possible. 🤍
slowly you prayed on time, slowly you started fasting on monday and thursday, slowly you started praying tahajjud and duha, slowly you guarded you speech, slowly الله also improved your life. 🤍
Tahajjud Competition with My Mother-in-Law ❤️
When I found out I was pregnant, I secretly prayed for a boy. I raised my younger sister like my own child—so this time I just wanted to experience the joy of raising a boy.
But my mother-in-law had other plans. She always dreamed of a girl, but never got one.
She smiled and said, “Let’s have a Tahajjud competition. You pray for a boy, I’ll pray for a girl. Let’s see who wins.”
And from there, we both started whispering our prayers at the end of the night.
First ultrasound… twins!
We both laughed and cried. It was as if Allah was softly saying: There’s no need for a competition. You both won.
A baby girl. A baby boy.
My son was weak and had to stay in the NICU.
But Alhamdulillah, today they are both healthy and turning into three years old—Double our joy, Double the result of our prayers.
*Tahajjud is truly something extraordinary*.❤️
