It’s getting warmer and the refugees risk again the dangers of border crossings. We see hundreds of new people, many with bruised faces and battered feet. They come into our community centre for a plate of hot food, medical help, a friendly word, chai or a course survival English

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday the dining hall in Ušivak camp turns into a cinema. People of all agree come to see the movies. Do you know a movie that is fun for people of all ages from anywhere around the world? Let us know!

In Ključ, local lady Sanela provides what she can to the refugee that are dropped off by police daily. The refugees spend a few nights there until they try to make it back into Una Sana Canton to continue their travels. Our volunteers closed the garage and installed heating.

After being told we had to leave Ušivak camp two weeks ago, we received permission from the Bosnian authorities to continue our work from today onwards. We are happy and exited to be back!

Yesterday instead doing street distributions we started providing food in our community centre in Sarajevo. The visitors are also involved in running the centre with us and we love that!

Yesterday we built a system to heat up 15 tents in a wearhouse in Ušivak camp. The idea was to get the heat from the big sleeve of the main heaters into the tents with a series of pipes so that's what we did! It was a hard working day but it was worth it!

Winter in Sarajevo can be really cold. We make sure that refugees living in the city have access to hot food twice a day. During our lunch distribution today we have provided hot food to around 200 people. #RefugeesWelcome #aidbrigade

What is #sheltersuit? These are both a jacket and a sleeping bag at the same time, providing shelter from the cold day and night. We can't wait to see all the refugees walk around in incredibly warm jackets!

It was a long and icy road from the Netherlands and it took us some sorting in the Ušivak camp dining hall but we are very exited to be ready to distribute 600 sheltersuits (14 pallets!) to the residents of the camp - both adults and children. #sheltersuit
