i posted the $703k @arc cctp queue earlier today

a few hours later, arc's $usdc supply jumped from $48,669 to $3,230,957 (cc @mztacat). but it was not the cctp queue clearing. atleast you could check shitcoins mcap at @ArcDEXScan - $ARCANINE is sitting at 12k for like several weeks already. so

four transactions created $3,182,238.57, or 99.998% of the entire increase:

my read: @circle or arc has bootstrapped a large block of native usdc inventory, probably ahead of distribution, market making or an official bridge route. or maybe they'll distribute more usdc among devs during current private mainnet

@arc is the chain and its basically the most web2 friendly blockchain ever built. everything is done is usdc and the general public could use it in web2 and never even know they are using a web3 product.

Mainnet infra is already up and reachable, and on-chain activity is picking up fast. But it's not actually live yet

Here's why you can't buy anything there:

Circle's own docs still list Arc as testnet only. CCTP (Circle's official bridge) hasn't added Arc as a supported destination. We've been watching on-chain for 7+ hours straight: dozens of people are already burning USDC on Base targeting Arc, but not a single one has completed attestation yet. Burning is permissionless (anyone can try) but until Circle's attesters actually sign off, no USDC lands on the other side. That's the real liquidity bottleneck: no official bridge flow yet = no real USDC on Arc = nothing to swap into.

@Arc Chain is now live on mainnet, and the bridge is expected to reopen very soon. Based on current activity, I believe it could happen sometime this week.

After spending some time exploring the ecosystem, I also found a way to acquire a small amount of USDC and start trading some of the leading tokens on the network.
