@VRCatalans@SadlyItsBradley ... and if you do align the virtual panel with a physical desk, as in this example, it still uses collision based input (not the tip tuch sensor inputs)
@VRDesktop@ID_AA_Carmack@BeatSaber@WalkaboutMG The on-going improvements, fine tuning, new features, etc. for Virtual Desktop that have been released over time have been amazing. Very very impressive.
@Kokyung_Byun@CubismVR I'd played and really liked Cubism. Didn't know it supported controllers. Interesting to play with stylus! Feels more "precise". Of course app would need to be updated/tweaked for better representation of stylus aim/grip pose.
@NathanSudds@Haulik@NathanSudds Yes, there is OS support. It will work using a legacy mode by default, but apps will need to explicitly add support to have a good UX. All the APIs are in Meta Core SDK. Hopefully you can make the suggestion to Workrooms :)
@timoni This widely reference 2014 paper proposes a model for mid-air aim interesting ... and t-rex arm (not called that in the paper!) is indeed "better" REF: Hincapié-Ramos, Juan David, et al. "Consumed endurance: a metric to quantify arm fatigue of mid-air interactions." CHI2014.
