@RERC_SNCF Merci. Quand la circulation reprendra-t-elle ? Je suis actuellement à la gare de Meudon-Val Fleury, mais le train est bloqué en gare et deux trains prévus ont été annulés à la dernière minute.
@AliAbdaal HarvardX ChinaX (2013-2015). Comprehensive, interactive, free, and quality was superb, much better than many paid courses I've taken, including distance learning UK Masters courses.
@WilliamGreen72@RayDalio Thoughts on long term bonds? For instance, the All Seasons portfolio is 40% LT bonds. Does their role still work in a rising rates environment.
@dcogleey @ronanlyons Aka carbon leakage… If there’s demand, someone else will produce the milk and meat. Unless they do so less carbon intensively it’s not an environmental improvement.
@davidmcw Whether you mean 100% annual demand or 100% instantaneous demand would make a difference in the economics i.e. can they offset low wind with gas, and make up for it later. Or do they need 100% renewables 24/7.
@Jackie_HealyRae The high-speed train from Beijing to Shanghai takes 4h 18min (33 min longer than Tralee-Dublin), but it travels 819 miles. Obviously more demand, so economics are incomparable, but sometimes you wonder which is the developing country…
Building on yesterday's successful delivery of #PPE to @HSELive, we are launching a campaign to fund a further cargo flight to support frontline staff and services fighting #COVID19. We plan to fly 40 tonnes of vital #PPE to Ireland - please donate here: https://t.co/jxAJBIyK3d
Govt has ordered what in normal times would be a 13 year supply of PPE. Even so, all assistance from private sector and general public is welcome. We’d rather be using it than looking for it. And, when its all over we can build a stockpile and help out other countries in need too
@TomLyonsBiz Arguably Dev & the Free State Government almost hammered the nail in the coffin of the Irish whiskey industry, with their export quotas etc. Lucky the industry survived at all. "The dregs of landlordism", I believe is what Finance Minster Ernest Blythe called the industry....
