Dr. Wyman credits the 7F LiquID Guide Extension with helping facilitate crossing success in his second attempt to treat this highly calcified, flush occluded LCX. The extra support of the LiquID as compared to a standard GCE was the difference in the case.

Calcium and tortuosity provide significant challenges in PCI. The attached case presentation from Dr. Scott Harding (Wellington Hospital, New Zealand) is a great expert example of complex coronary disease management.

A 7F #LiquID Guide Catheter Extension is delivered using the "inch worm" technique in a calcified and highly angulated "Shepard's Crook" right coronary. The case includes trapping in the GCE exchange segment, IVUS, Orbital Atherectomy, a 4.0 x 32 stent, 4.5 and 5.5 NC balloons.
