I love the angle taken by @kenearlys on the Champions League final.
He’s absolutely right to dedicate so much time to how Arsenal waste time 🗑️
The drinking water and human life lines 🤣
Havertz wins a throw-in at +5:12, hands it to Mosquera at +5:25, hands it to Rice for the long throw-in at +5:46.
Win a corner from the throw-in at +5:55. Saka begins to put the ball down at +6:25.
The entire first half. A set-piece clock is needed. 10s
Comedy palate cleanser. Robert Jenrick about to grandstand but reminded of his defection from one party to another this year is gold. The timing. First line great. Second line superb but crowd not recovered from the first to fully appreciate it 😊
The great Paul Whitehouse is 68 years old today, which means I am obliged to post this (again!) - arguably the most majestically random but brilliant comedy sketch committed to celluloid for at least the last, what, forty, forty five years?
Yes, forty, forty five years.
Happy birthday Paul 🤘
Every time running out at Easter Rd he’d head for the main terracing, play a one-two with Erich Schaedler and hit the ball off an advertising board, right in front of me and my dad
🎉 Happy 78th birthday to Hibs legend John Blackley 🥳
A key figure in Turnbull’s Tornadoes, John made 279 appearances for Hibs and later managed the club from 1984 to 1986
Here he is reflecting on the iconic 7-0 win at Tynecastle
New vid, and just used the old lyrics of the song to accompany it. Very difficult to find any decent images of Tom McNiven and Wilson Humphries, Eddies right hand men, so I used this pic I was commissioned to fix of them outside the stadium and made a new pics of them to use🇳🇬💚
“I’ll be all over the Farage £5 million donor story as soon as I’ve finished investigating allegations that Starmer owes a mate 22p for a Mars bar he bought him in 1987.”
I know there is a lot of news around but can someone at the Beeb explain to me how a man they keep telling us might be the next PM getting an undisclosed donation of FIVE MILLION POUNDS from a Thai based crypto dealer (with a BS explanation about it being for lifelong security) is not even a news story when the man he wants to replace led the news for days over some glasses and Arsenal tickets?
I loved Bobby and thought I truly appreciated him
Then I watched this close up of his skills in actual matches and WOW………
What a player, totally underrated. Damn no one comes close to his ability?
It was a privilege to drive up to Edinburgh to attend the funeral of former professional footballer Alex Cropley today.
A wonderful service celebrating the life of a wonderful man.
My thoughts are with Liz and all of the Cropley family at this desperately sad time.
Sleep tight Alex 😞

Very sorry to hear this. When I was a student at Edinburgh Uni I used to go to Easter Road to watch Hibs. They had a wonderful team, including Pat Stanton, John Blackley etc but the most elegant player was Alex Cropley. He was a joy to watch. Condolences to family and friends.
His goal in the 0-7 game has been much posted, but you had to be there - Tynie, ’71, TV not present - for Alex’s greatest. Remember Best vs Sheffield Utd running diagonally one way then shooting the other across the bamboozled keeper? Our man beat him to this feat by two months
Alex Cropley - 199 appearances for Hibernian, 49 goals, 1968–1974.
While with Hibs, he won the Scottish League Cup of 1972, in a 2–1 victory over Celtic in the final.
