This week I have been reflecting again on strategic leadership vs strategic management. Whilst both are essential in an organisation there is often too much of one without the other.
And we're off!! @MauriceMulvenna welcomes everyone along to the @DMH2023 public event with some discussion around waiting lists for treating mental health conditions.
"We have a society in NI which experiences significant mental health issues."

Really pleased to be able to attend the West Belfast MDT celebration event. Great to hear about the fantastic work to date and acknowledge the challenges still to come. “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.”

@naomhgallagher@PassportIRL Mine took weeks to show up on the tracker. I contacted them through chat as I was worried they'd been lost after delivery they confirmed theyd arrived. Got my passport about a week after the tracker said I would but took a further 2 months before my original docs were returned!
What a great night of fun and craic with the return of our school fundraiser BLINGO! Wonderful support from family and friends of St Comgall’s and raising funds for the children along the way! Thanks a million to all who attended and to our wonderful fundraising group! #blingofun
@daniadvocacy Frustration is they accepted him for behaviour support and asd referral without question. While we agree there may be some issues there too we feel there's also a link to his literacy issues. So they will manage symptoms of behaviour without considering underlying causes 🤔🤔
@daniadvocacy Currently going through this with our son. Only a 14 point gap in school scores but we paid for private assessment and the gap is 39! Bit of a struggle to get EA to accept but think it is sorted now (senco went over the head of school EP) and referral on its way to lit services🙏
