There’s a real Schrodingerian aspect to the way leftists talk about Hasan Piker.
When leading Democrats like Jon Ossoff disavow him, it’s “no! No! How dare you! Your 2028 chances are out the door! Hasan is KINGMAKER!”
Then when Hasan goes on yet another bigoted tirade, it’s “he’s just a streamer.”
So which is it?
You can’t have it both ways.
jon ossoff is anti medicare for all, anti green new deal, pro ICE, and pro israel. he cannot be anywhere close to being the nominee for president in 2028
and people who wholeheartedly hate every israeli person no matter their stance on the genocide are part of the problem, yall should be focused on helping palestinian people instead of blindly hating every single thing related to israel
there’s a distinction to make between supporting the genocide and being a zionist. people can criticize the israeli GOVERNMENT while arguing for its right to exist. supporting the genocide is a downright evil take, but supporting israel’s right to exist is just an opinion
i do think people who support the genocide are bad (ig gal gadot) and deserve to be cancelled, but a celebrity isn’t necessarily a “raging zionist” because they said tel aviv was a nice city in 2015.
heyy im looking for #politicstwt moots, here’s a glimpse of my political views:
🇺🇸 third way democrat, clinton/biden type. ❌ dsa and maga
🇬🇧 libdem 🧡, potentially a moderate tory
🇫🇷 centrist, macron and attal
🌎 socially progressive, economically center right
see i would agree with this take if it were for a gubernatorial/house election, but the thing is we desperately need to win back the senate and we can’t afford losing any seats… as painful as it is i’ll be rooting for el sayed in that election
congratulations to mike rogers for winning the election !! maybe leftists will finally realize that running dsa candidates is not the key to securing senate majority 🤡
