Haha, not silly at all. I didn’t simply write “Japanese idol drama style” as the main keyword. I tried to describe the actual ingredients that create that feeling: straight-out-of-camera realism, soft overcast coastal daylight, slightly high-key exposure, natural lens compression, faint sensor noise, imperfect white balance, unretouched skin texture, damp wind-tousled hair, and simple linen clothing.
So the Japanese drama feeling probably came less from a genre label and more from the restrained mood: quiet expression, clean daylight, minimal posing, soft beach background, and a camera that feels like it was really handheld for a moment.
Anime × live-action remix, v2 — this time in a quiet register. It still holds.
