The courage, fearlessness always inspired me. They changed me, the fight changed me, and I will never be able to forget or minimize the impact these brave people had on my life.
To the folks still with us today, Thank You.
To the people we lost, we will not forget you.3/3
World AIDS Day 2021-It's difficult to go through this day every year remembering the people we lost to AIDS.
Like soldiers, we fought in the streets, in the government and corporate offices. We fought on in the memory of our fallen comrades and in the hope of finding a cure. 1/3
To some, it's just another day with a label; to many, it's a somber time to remember those we lost and the fight we mounted to find a cure for AIDS.
I had the honor of meeting AIDS activists from around the world while working on the AIDS activist project. 2/3
