Delainey is great in iwtv S2, but in no way she looks young enough to pass for Jacob's daughter or 14 years old. Not a big deal though, not with all the 30 years old in older tv shows trying to pass as high school kids lol
Halfway through my rewatch of interview with vampire s1, Claudia falling in love for the first time was so sweet, i hate it ended like that😭😭 but drunk Claudia hiding a corpse and body parts from the cops in her room was hilarious lol
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin We are talking about treating everyone gags as gags here, and not justifying a character's bad one while shitting on another, what does Zoro vs king have to do with it...?
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin As if Oda couldn't have had Nami scream and Sanji would have come and destroyed the bath house in 2 seconds. Yet he chose the other option cause for him it's. a. gag. It has zero impact in his actual relationship with Nami.
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin Plot development a stupid joke of him running faster cause he touched a boob??😭 it's just a stupid ass gag Oda loves and that sometimes uses for the "plot" like fmi, though he could have droven the point home in any other way lol
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin I don't get this obsession with plot development, a gag is a gag, Sanji perv gag is, again, a gag. Nobody in the story genuinely thinks he's a bad person for it, not even Nami. So why it's right to call out his gag, but with the others is never that serious or a misunderstanding?
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin What plot development do you think there was in the fight with Absalom? Unlike Hogback who was treated seriously, the whole Absalom thing was treated as a big joke, Sanji wanting his fruit didn't lead to anything. The only development was Nami befriending Lola.
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin There is clearly time passing between this whole scene and when they saw Franky beat Nami before, before the laughing panel it's shown that they already know about the swap. I love Luffy, he's my top favorite with Sanji, but that doesn't change that he's far from perfect.
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin Brook uses his soul power to peep into women baths and Usopp is jealous about it. Both did peep into women baths. No one in this fandom gives af about it. About TB no strawhat was shown being really worried about Nami, it's all treated as a joke, Luffy put food before her ffs
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin Luffy was laughing at that specific scene, not at the general caos. Oda never stopped himself from "micharacterizing" for the sake of a gag. Luffy is the guy in the crew that everyone say treats men and women equally, yet he called Sanji dumb for wanting a female shipwright.
A sentence that nobody ever says though. Try making a tweet highlighting Usopp peeping, being excited about Sanji in Nami's body and laughing at her, being jealous of Brook spying into women baths. Then call him a sex offender and see how many likes you get.
@blueontheradio@ichigekinomajin Sure, that's why the only scenes shown right before the panel where him and Usopp laughed, with Nami getting mad at them, was about Sanji in Nami's body. They already knew then about the change, it's when he saw "Franky" hit "Nami" before that he didn't know.
