Found a medium size one a couple of weeks ago - cooked in thick sliced steaks with lashings of garlic butter! Delicious

I’d planned to be there tomorrow to support the preservation of this wonderful 500+yr old oak tree. Shocking that it’s been torn down limb by limb. Not on the highway…just close to a sliproad. Shocking. @TreesforDorset @NewWoodTrees @UkAncient @FutureTreesUK @keeper_of_books

Bailiffs have arrived on site to begin eviction so this perfectly healthy tree can be killed for what's essentially a private access road
How much more of our remaining biodiversity must be destroyed for such ill thought out schemes in a time of ecological and climate breakdown?
