in his words: "I may or may have not just decompiled Battlefield 1942's raw C engine with Claude Code to run it in the browser". it's the free shareware demo, one multiplayer map for now.
driving the tank in a browser tab is what got me. it's the demo only, so it could get pulled.
claude code meets battlefield 1942, and it runs in a browser tab.
- levelsio took the free shareware demo
- he says claude code did the decompiling
- multiplayer works, he built a websocket server
which 1942 map should he add next?

in his words: "asked claude opus 5.5 to build a game where you just break glass / every sound you hear is made from code. not a single audio file". his original prompt is public in the repo: https://t.co/NxTvtAO5U9
the slow-mo shard tinkle is my favorite part. still can't believe that's a synth
0 audio files. every sound in this glass game is code.
- he asked claude opus 5.5 for a game where you just break glass
- the gunshot, the crack, the shard tinkles, all synthesized live in your browser
- different glass, different shatter
which old game had the best glass-breaking sound?

How AI was used, his words: "So I made one with Opus 5.5." "all procedural except for char models using tripo3d." "you can ask the gm anything."
My take: the storyteller writing the scene live is the hook for me. Not public yet, he calls it a side thing.

AI use: the dev's bio read "Built with Codex Γ Claude Code / Made game a day since Oct 22, 2026"
my take: the takeoff lab is the best part. drag the umbrella wider and the wind you need drops right in front of you
someone made mary poppins with real physics
- a 1 m umbrella needs about 30 m/s of wind just to lift you
- red swirls give triple lift, but stay too long and it flips inside out
- our best run topped out at 176 m. space starts at 100 km
how big would your umbrella need to be to reach everest?

My take: the storehouse wandering off mid-round got me. My best was 80.
You flick okra into a storehouse's mouth before it slams the door.
- Five in a row and the doors swing wide open
- Miss and the okra sticks to the wall
- Later the storehouse walks off and turns its back on you
Would you aim for the door or build the okra tower on the roof?

In their words: "Explore dynamic environments in real time to see how the scene responds, sounds, and how the people in it move, react, and speak."
My take: the talking got me. A dragon rider yelling about the castle sold it.

This is Genie 4, our most realistic and interactive world model yet. π
Explore dynamic environments in real time to see how the scene responds, sounds, and how the people in it move, react, and speak.
You describe a world, then you're inside it, steering it live.
- Starry Night became a village you walk through
- It makes its own sound, and people talk back
- Describe it and seconds later you're on a dragon
Which painting would you walk into first?

how they put it: "Upload a gameplay video or describe a game, and get an interactive ad that runs in the browser." edits are sliders and plain-language prompts.
my take: this is built for playable ads first. the ad export is Enterprise-only, and a lot of the hype posts about it are paid partnerships. still, prompt to something you can actually tap through in minutes is a real step for tiny game prototypes.
you're a wizard holding a bridge against a horde. higgsfield says that game came from one prompt.
- in the demo they drop in another game's ad clip, type a prompt, and get a wizard version
- swap the hero or the palette, the mechanics stay put
- a playable browser preview lands in minutes
which fake mobile game ad do you wish was a real game?

Creator: @FlehmenStudio. He gave himself one hour to make and release a browser game, picked the idea, then wrote "γγ¨γ―Claudeγ«ι εΌ΅γ£γ¦γγγ" (Claude can do the rest). Playable about an hour in, then polished.
I hit a stranger with my first coin, then came up short three times in a row. Every miss gets its own reaction, and that's the fun.
You're at the back of the New Year shrine line, throwing your 5-yen coin over everyone.
- Dead center is +10
- Miss and you hit a stranger or tear the paper door
- 10 coins, then the bell, two claps and your fortune
How many of your 10 coins make it in?

I spent half my run stuck under a bar. The flips made up for it.
You're the salaryman who leaked the customer data, and you have to dogeza your way to the CEO's office.
- Walking isn't allowed, so you dive
- Clip a box and you flip
- Spin 10+ times and he forgives you for the art
Clean bow or the 10-spin art bonus: which are you going for?
