Some people say they hate an artist, don’t want to support him anymore, and claim they’re no longer a fan… yet still keep up with everything he does outside of his career and personal life. Watching every move, overanalysing every interaction, and turning small things into unnecessary issues. At some point, you really have to ask yourself if you truly don’t care, why spend so much time and energy on someone you supposedly dislike?
Being a fan should be something enjoyable, not something that constantly creates stress, assumptions, and hate towards others. If you genuinely support someone, support them in a healthy way. And if you no longer like an artist, it’s okay to move on peacefully and focus on the ones you truly enjoy.
