@HMcEntee @SimonHarrisTD I know of 4 Gardai with long service & no regular (if any) training provided since they left Garda college 16+years ago.A Garda can technically leave Templemore with basic skills & never engage in training for his the rest of his service.-it might be offered but not mandatory.

@HMcEntee @SimonHarrisTD in what realm is it acceptable for a Garda to have 16 years service & for eg:his last first aid course was the one he did in Templmore.Look @ USA,this is what happens when Gardai are under paid & not trained properly.Its coming here if we don’t wake up.
