what are random things growing up that made you think other households were “rich”? Mine was when people had an ice maker in their fridge and didn’t need to use trays 😭

i was an intern at a children’s library during my undergrad program and i was introduced to all of the valuable resources that libraries provide to their communities and i wanted to be part of providing and advocating for those resources that i missed out on as a kid 🫶🏻
i just saw someone post that they love working at Michael’s and i’m glad they’re having a better time than i was bc that was without a doubt the worst fucking job i’ve ever had 💀
