@AvantiWestCoast - huge thanks to Lewis and Chris on the 16.52 from Edinburgh to Euston. Knowing that our son is autistic and the train was about to get busy, they warned us and moved us to Standard Premium at no extra cost to minimise his overwhelm. Amazing work!
@ScotRail - The situation at Haymarket that we have just navigated nothing short of deadly. Hundreds upon hundreds of people crowded onto a platform while hundreds more get off a delayed train. Kids and the elderly almost being pushed off the edge of the platform in the crush.
@Hunter83Carol@FasdhubScotland Hi Carol - is this open to youngsters outside Scotland? I’m supporting a family in England and there is a 17 year old who really wants a peer group to chat through her diagnosis with.
@AvantiWestCoast - total shambles on the 13.27 from WBQ to EDI. Multiple trains cancelled has meant frankly dangerous overcrowding in vestibule areas. Our seats occupied; 80 year old women standing and my autistic child trying his best not to meltdown. No train manager around.
@gerrydiamond71 Can we please add FASD to this list? 3-5% prevalence, chronic underdiagnosis, more prevalent in youngsters who enter the care system and still largely overlooked!!
@amazon delivery van LD71 RZZ currently blocking a tram full of people and all traffic behind it at the foot of Leith Walk by parking across the tram lines with its hazard lights on. Have a word with your drivers, please.
@edinplayhouse - Your staff are amazing! My son and I came to the 2.30pm showing of ‘Strictly’ today and when I explained he is autistic, they knew exactly which supports to offer. They were so kind and reassuring. Thanks so much!
@naedug67@Newbattleatwar We went to Twelve Tree Copse and left crosses and photos from the papers of all the 5th lads buried there. The Turkish CWGC gardeners came to speak to us and we’re v moved to see the faces of the men whose graves they’d been tending for years.
We’re on holiday and the first thing kiddo has requested to do is to visit the war graves in the local kirkyard. Being brought up in the @CWGC faith! @pgkepfidra
