I wanted to see if crypto could actually fit into something as ordinary as an online purchase.

So instead of thinking about crypto as something I only hold or trade I looked at the Binance Card and tried to understand what spending with it would actually feel like.

That shift is what caught my attention.

For eligible users in supported markets the Binance Card can be used for online and offline spending, with crypto converted for the payment. The Global Program currently supports a virtual card, which can also be added to Google Wallet where available.

Binance says the Card can be used across 90M+ online and offline merchants worldwide, while eligible spending may qualify for cashback of up to 3% where applicable subject to the relevant terms and eligibility.

What I find interesting is the idea behind it: the merchant does not need to care whether your funds started as crypto. You are simply using a payment card for something you already wanted to buy.

Availability supported assets cashback and features depend on your market and account eligibility.
