Lawyers For Liberty has released a dashcam video showing a VIP's escort personnel assaulting an e-hailing driver, in an incident which sparked public outrage in May.

The two-minute clip shows the assailant shouting at Grab driver Ong Ing Keong, who is deaf and mute, before punching him in the face after Ong rolled down his car window.

LFL adviser N. Surendran confirmed that the video was provided to police on the day of the incident.
