Le préjudice s'élève donc à 276 967€.

For Pride - Las Pupuseras.

In El Salvador, a pupusa is the country's beloved national dish, and pupusera can also be used as a slang term for a queer woman. This painting plays with that double meaning, transforming a word that has sometimes been used as a slur into a celebration of love.

Two Nahua women share a kiss while preparing pupusas at a market stall. The man enjoying a pupusa beside them is my husband, who is Salvadoran. Through him, I have developed a deep affection for El Salvador, its people, and its traditions. This painting is my small tribute to that affection.
