@miss_misery8 This happens to me so much lol 😭 I think it comes from people who subsribe to a series on impulse, forget about it, and then when they see an update they have a ‘what was this again? Why did I subscribe to that?’ moment and then end up unsubscribing… that would be my guess 😔

@sympara_webtoon I may have just gotten lucky with my patrons? For like the first two years of my webcomic I never got one, but I started adding a little reference to my Patreon at the end of all my chapters, and then I finally started getting a few

@niceannoying It feels like thats because everybody who regularly looks through that section of canvas has already seen my series at one point or another, so everybody who had interest in it has already subscribed… I also struggle with finding ways to get my stuff out there to other people 😭

@niceannoying Growth has been a slow burn over the last 2 yrs, but I did well enough in viewers one week to make the top 10 in horror category in Canvas’ spotlight tab. I grew a lot after that, but it kinda plateaued since then, even though I’ve wound up on the list again a few more times 😅
