Someone told me today that maybe God lets us feel frustrated and discouraged so that he can prepare us for the change and the goodness that he has planned for us and I’ve never thought about it that way but I think everyone needs that encouragement today<3

I hope I'm wrong.
But tonight feels like some sort of invisible line has been crossed that we didn't even know was there. The last time I felt like this was 9/11 when it was clear, without knowing the how and the what, that the world was about to change forever.
Like the rules of the game had been permanently altered and there was simply no going to back to the innocent, peaceful past.
I didn't feel like this when an attempt was made on President Trump's life. If I had to rationalise why I didn't, I guess it's because several US Presidents have been shot at and even assassinated. Somehow it was within the realms of the possible, no matter how awful.
But to murder a young father simply for doing debates and mobilising young people to vote for a party that represents half of America? This is something else.
Charlie's death is a tragedy for his wife, his children and his family. I don't pray often. I am praying for them tonight.
But I fear his murder will be a tragedy for all of us in ways we will only understand as time unfolds.
I hope I'm wrong.
I’m sharing @davidjeremiah’s prayer. God is in charge of what happens tomorrow. We should vote, pray, and trust Him with the outcome.
Prayer for Election Day
Dear Lord, so many are feeling anxious, worried and stressed today. We ask you to fill us with your peace and help our minds to be at rest. Help us to remember that no matter who becomes President, you are still on the throne and fully in control. We pray that honesty, fairness and truth will prevail. We ask that you would grant us your widsom and fill us with your love, that we might overcome all that divides us. We humble ourselves before you as we pray, Lord and we ask you to heal our land and shed your grace and mercy on America once again. We ask these things in Jesus' name.” David Jeremiah
some people are natural criers. they cry when excited, they cry in grief, they cry in laughter, they cry in rage, they literally cry at any slight emotional experience or state. this is how their bodies process experiences in real time. and that’s okay
Asheville, NC is accessible only by air. 😳 No electricity, no gas, no food or running water, no banks, no school, what about hospitals??? The list is endless. How do you start over? It's mindblowing. And the small towns around Asheville not in any better shape.
Sydney McLaughlin set a world record in the 400 Meter Hurdles.
This is what she had to say about it,
"Records come and go, but the Glory of God is Eternal. I don't deserve anything. But by grace through faith, Jesus has given me everything."
🚨 #BREAKING: The Patriot who lost his life at the Trump rally has been identified as Corey Comperatore, the former fire chief of Buffalo Township

"I believe in one Creator, that I've been called to come out here, do my best, compete and glorify God, and that's pretty much it."
