今年は食中毒もありながら過去最長距離のストームチェイスとなりました

個人的に最も苦し���、辛いチェイスでしたが、その分自然は私に素晴らしい景色を見せてくれました

今���の目標としていた
・色んなチェイサーと顔を合わせる
・LP型スーパーセルと接触
・竜巻の撮影
の全てを達成することが出来ました

自然以外にも映画ツイスター公開30周年イベントで色んな現役チェイサーとお会いできたことや、ストームチェイス中に各地のチェイサーに会えたこともとても嬉しかったです
（Wakitaのツイスター博物館に俺のサイン入りツイスターズのパンフレットを寄付したので興味ある人は見に行ってね）

どの経験も私にとって泣くほど嬉しい経験でしたし、忘れることもないでしょう

今回のアメリカ滞在でやれることは全てやれたのではないかと思います

反省点としては、もう少し人に頼ってみても良かったかもしれません（本当はもっと観光とか、食事をしてみたいですからね　マジで全てをストームチェイスに金を注ぎ込んでますので…）

私は何とかこの活動を続けたいです
もっと色んな人に知ってもらいたいし、拡散されればより色んな方の目に留まると思います
そうすれば、もしかしたらより活動の幅が広がるかもしれません

EVERYONE has something they are particularly good at. Humans only become mediocre when forced into a system that demands a small subset of talents that most don't do well.
Fortunately for humans, robots are going to be very good at those mundane skills required to maintain an economy.
The transition will be difficult, chaotic, and scary. But when it all settles down into a new normal, we are likely to find those small individual talents of ours are more in demand than our skills with Microsoft Office ever were.

I have seen many people mocking Ilhan Omar for reading "World War Two" as "World War Eleven". They are missing the point.

What bothers me about this incident is she would never have read "WWII" as "World War Eleven" if she was reading something she had written herself. She was obviously reading something handed to her that she hadn't even been given time to look over.

I want the words of my representatives to be THEIR WORDS. Those were obviously not her own words. One of the most outspoken representatives in congress is being told what to say. That should be cause for concern not mockery.

I NEVER use the "For You" feed on this platform, I use personally curated Lists of people and accounts I trust. But after reading complaints about the new algorithm, I took a look. Easily half of the content recommended to me is slop, click-bait, or stolen. By stolen content I don't mean aggregators. I appreciate and follow several aggregators. Aggregators credit the original accounts, thieves strip the content and present it as theirs. From what I've seen in my main feed this morning, X is actively promoting fake content and content from accounts that do nothing but take credit for the work of others. This is a big step backwards for what was becoming a great platform.

Freshman Art History class. As we studied different eras and styles of art, the assignment was to create a piece of art using the technique being discussed. I am a terrible artist, but 40 years later I am still proud of the mosaic I made for that class. It pops into my head whenever mosaics are mentioned.

There will always be a market for handmade art, music, and other items. I have a friend who does handmade woodwork. Many of the items she sells are virtually identical to mass produced items you can buy from China on Amazon for 1/10 the price, but there are people who want handmade craftsmanship and are willing to pay a premium for it. AI/Robotics has the potential to make everyday items and media nearly free for everyone, but there will always be artists and artisans creating for those who want one of a kind human created art, music, and crafts and are willing to pay a premium to the creators.
