Like Paul Davis, "I Go Crazy" four years later, "Why Me" by Kris Kristofferson was the perfect example of a song that broke very slowly across the South. Would've charted higher if all the airplay had been at once. Never got to the "I Go Crazy" tipping point. #AT40
