Today is National Coming Out Day. Decades before the law caught up, we worked to negotiate job protections for LGBTQ+ workers & secured domestic partner benefits in contracts. While we continue to protect our rights and dignity at work, there is still more to do.

There’s only one place to be on December 9 – walking the picket line.
Save the date and join Regional Flight Attendants across the industry for a National Day of Action to demand an end to poverty wages, tiers in aviation, and improve quality of life.
@WIRED Read the story here: it has to do with transportation special interests, furry con culture, and a talking Italian cartoon pig https://t.co/wGpSWeqtcu
@BlueWalrusTooth Any union of individuals--whether for labor or otherwise--is just a banner individuals raise. Our fellows in aviation, whether furry or not, do the important work in keeping everyone safe. We cannot take credit for the leadership and expertise of our rank and file.
#WeAreALFA, representing the #furry community voice in all aspects of the #aviation industry! From health and wellbeing tips during your next fur-con layover to raising issues about schedules and fatigue, we are not silent, and we want to engage with you! #FirstTweet

Gender-confused people have one of the HIGHEST suicide rates among people struggling with mental illness.
Unfortunately, these gender-confused individuals aren’t just harming themselves – they’re also hurting other people.
Take Tyler Robinson, for example, the man who allegedly killed my friend, Charlie Kirk.
Tyler was living with his transgender lover and was involved in online furry culture. It’s no wonder that this mentally ill person went after Charlie.
GENDER CONFUSION IS A MENTAL ILLNESS.
@DustytheDingo Things always get better, but you're right: things right now feel like a death trap of fatigue for many in our industry. We're glad you took the steps you needed for you, but we're sorry to lose an experienced fur to the deathtraps of fatigue that isn't worth the compensation. :(
> Airlines are already doing all they can. The challenge is they need to be doing more.
Cutting scheduled flying treats a symptom; taking care of your furries in all aspects of the operations from fatigue, overworking, and over-tasking aids in a cure.
From long lines to delays and cancellations, airports have been trying to manage a post-pandemic travel surge with a shortage of staff. An American Airlines pilot walks us through the disruptions to unpack how airlines are trying to fix it. https://t.co/vc5ot5bOpF
During the TD1-sized travel document creation, we humored the idea of TD3 passport booklets and MRV-A visas. We may try to find a print vendor at some point, but for now it's just in the "Someday" folder.
