Here’s what you need to know about Triclosan in toothpaste: ⚠️⚠️

Firstly, Triclosan is an antibacterial ingredient that used to be added to some toothpastes and soaps to fight germs and plaque. It doesn’t cause problems overnight, but long-term use has raised concerns.

MOST BRANDS, IF NOT ALL, HAVE REMOVED TRICLOSAN YEARS AGO DUE TO THESE CLAIMS.✅✅✅

Some articles say it doesn’t affect the female reproductive system, while others suggest it might. Animal studies show very high doses can affect hormone levels, which could theoretically impact fertility, but there’s no solid evidence with normal toothpaste use.💯💯

A few sources mention possible effects on men’s fertility. The miscarriage story might not be 100% accurate, but to be safe, it’s best to avoid it.🙏

Also, it’s important people are careful with random online toothpaste brands promising miracles or claiming to be from abroad, lmao.😅

I was once on a Radio show (Nigeria Info FM) when a man called about a “5D” toothpaste from Temu (very expensive) 😅 something I’d never heard of and likely without the Nigerian Dental Association stamp. 💯

It might have unsafe chemicals, but I couldn’t confirm. So I told him it’s not good because he bought it to whiten teeth, and when I checked it up, it’s not good for the dental health.

My advice: stick to trusted brands, check the ingredients, and use a fluoride toothpaste like Colgate and many others to prevent dental issues. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
