Sligo: all our SIRO connections in Sligo are currently offline, as there is a power issue in the communications container in Sligo Town. Engineers are already en route to investigate.
Portlaoise: there is currently a fibre fault between Portlaoise and Stradbally, that started around 5:00 this morning.
Fiber crews are in the progress of investigating, where the fault is.
North Co. Galway: several of our repeaters north of Tuam are currently offline due to a fibre fault between Kilconly and Milltown. Estimation time for restore: 20:00
4th Oct weekend: quite a few outages. Some related to power. Around Caherlistrane, we see that some of our antennas got a real hit reducing bandwidth.
We will try to get this fixed as fast as we can.
Galway: we have had an issue with a failed switch in our network in Galway today. This should have had limited impact on customers, but if their connection dropped during the outage, it may not have come back online. This has been repaired now.
Glann road (north Lough Corrib), Co. Galway is back online. Doorly and The Neale still suffering from a power outage that started at 9:00 this morning.
