@bricey16 as if like the Hunts and Fc dallas are just hoarding world class players, straight batting away big interest and offers from all over the world
@BBitt@derekcody No it is really funny meanwhile billionaires move their billion dollar franchises all around and govts provide land, stadium subsidies, infrastructure, control of management and revenue on and on and on
@Kyle_Molock22@AroundWrldSocr FFF gets them at 11 yo into a broad cohesive system to develop them (this is key bc it's focused on that, not winning some meaningless Memorial Day tournament in Dallas) meanwhile 11 yos here start burning out, selecting out, or families can't afford the big jump in fees
@willmenaker the learned helplessness the hypernormalisation ... like yes people can just decide something is different one day and then it's different. Many such examples
@Kyle_Molock22@AroundWrldSocr see example the FFF, French got tired of 4 decades of underperforming with an ad hoc decentralized unserious system and reformed, funded, and organized it
@Kyle_Molock22@AroundWrldSocr I didn't say all were free. Many are close to free. But "around the world" the top countries, countries that win, countries churning out the best players, when reassembled to the national team have developed more coherent organized systems for identifying developing their talent
@MikeHerndonSk1 and much of the time the travel club will demands its players spend more time and money on skills and development camps because they're uninterested in developing players
@BayernAusBoston where in europe is the thing because it kind of is already. Plus the premise of this is there's a bunch of talent that the biggest best richest leagues in Europe can't pry from the MLS when it's really that none are all that interested because they're mostly not good enough
