Alhamdulillah! The election is over, and I am deeply honored and grateful to share that we won. This victory is not mine alone it belongs to all of us. It has been an incredible journey filled with hard work, faith, and the unwavering support of so many people.

First and foremost, I thank Almighty Allah (SWT) for blessing me with this opportunity. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family, especially my amazing husband my greatest supporter, my strength, and my soldier along with my wonderful children, friends, supporters, and the entire District 44-B community.

Thank you for believing in me, standing by my side, and helping me achieve this milestone. I truly could not have done it without your encouragement, prayers, and dedication. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Now, let’s continue working together to take our community to the next level. My commitment to serving our community has never changed. I have been serving, I am serving, and I will continue serving each and every one of you with humility, integrity, and dedication.

Another chapter of my life has ended and a new one has begun for not just me but my amazing son, Rayan. He completed Elementry school and is on the way to becoming a middle schooler! I am so proud of him for getting the Principles Award and an award for the highest scoring MISA (Maryland Integrated Science Assessment) score out of his entire grade! I get teary eyed thinking about his past years at elementary school but I can’t wait to see what the future holds. May Allah bless his coming years. ❤️🎉

Deeply saddened by the tragic news from the Islamic Center in San Diego, California. Our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences go out to the victims, their families, and the entire community during this difficult time.
