My humble appeal to Millennials and Gen Z:
We have seen how a determined generation of young people can bring even the most powerful governments to their knees. It is a reminder that the real strength of any democracy lies in the power of its people.
At the same time, many celebrities, influencers, sports icons and movie stars chose to remain silent instead of standing with the youth and students of this country. Whether out of fear, caution, or self-interest, their SILENCE spoke volumes.
The next time we stand in a queue to buy a movie ticket, a match ticket or subscribe to a content creator, let us pause for a moment and ask ourselves:-
Does this person truly represent the values I believe in? Have they stood by the people who made their success possible?
If those who enjoy our applause cannot find the courage to stand with the people when it matters most, then maybe it’s time we rethink who deserves our applause.
Who we follow is our choice.
Who we celebrate is our choice.
Who we make famous is our choice.
Remember:
The audience gave them FAME.
The people gave them INFLUENCE.
The youth gave them RELEVANCE.
When history calls for courage, silence is never neutral - it is a choice.
Every ticket you buy.
Every view you give.
Every like, share, follow and cheer- They are not just clicks or purchases, they are ENDORSEMENTS.
Spend your attention as carefully as you spend your money.
Because if they cannot stand with us when it matters most, why should we continue to stand behind them?

Is this how you plan to drive “Bhoi” out? By setting Bengal on fire?
What unfolded in Khejuri’s Nichkasba GP, Hijli Sharif is nothing short of barbaric.
Over 60 shops were torched by BJP-backed miscreants, destroying the livelihoods of innocent people overnight. Hindu-owned shops, Muslim-owned shops, it made no difference. This was not an attack on any one community; it was a calculated assault on Bengal’s social harmony, democratic fabric and the ordinary citizens who simply want to live in peace.
This is the true face of BJP’s politics: hatred, intimidation and destruction.
Bengal will never surrender to such violence. Those responsible for this shameful act must be identified and brought to justice at the earliest.

“All other pleasures and possessions pale into nothingness before service which is rendered in a spirit of joy.”
This idea of service is not abstract to me. It is visible on the ground, in places like Budge Budge, where #Sebaashray2 continues to function not as an obligation, but as a shared commitment carried with care and purpose.
On Day 17, what stood out was not scale or spectacle, but the quiet confidence with which healthcare was delivered. Doctors, volunteers, and staff worked with an ease that comes only when service is internalised not imposed. That is the joy Mahatma Gandhi spoke of: ‘service performed with sincerity, not compulsion’.
Sebaashray 2 reminds me every day that when service is rooted in care and responsibility, it leaves behind something lasting: trust, reassurance, and lives strengthened through care.
The HYPOCRISY of the BJP leadership has fallen to new depths. @BJP4India MP from Ranaghat, Jagannath Sarkar declares that if the BJP COMES TO POWER, there will be no borders between INDIA AND BANGLADESH- both nations will become ONE again!
On the other hand, the same BJP government including @HMOIndia Amit Shah keeps blaming the West Bengal government for not giving land to “PROTECT” the very BORDERS THEIR OWN MP WANTS TO ERASE!
If the BJP truly believes in the nation’s integrity, I challenge @BJP4India@JPNadda to suspend this MP immediately. Their silence will only expose that HE SPOKE WITH THE FULL CONSENT OF TOP LEADERSHIP.
This is not nationalism - this is deception. Fooling and humiliating the people of West Bengal in the name of “SIR” has become the BJP’s trademark politics - A dangerous mix of hypocrisy and betrayal!
Look at their own words and decide who’s fooling Bengal.👇🏼
Today’s terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir is not only unfortunate and horrifying but it must serve as a clarion call for the GoI.
This is the same government that claimed demonetisation would end black money and terror funding and that the abrogation of Article 370 would bring lasting peace to the region. Yet, today’s tragic incident stands as a stark reminder of the failure of these promises, policies and propaganda.
My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident. I pray that God grants them strength and comfort in this time of immense grief. Wishing a speedy and complete recovery to all who are injured.
As we step into the new year, I take a moment to reflect on the journey we have shared in 2024. This year has tested our endurance, pushing us to confront every challenge head-on and emerge stronger, unyielding in our commitment to stand against those who seek to divide and deprive us.
2024 has been a year of profound personal and professional growth, a time when we braved all obstacles and adversities to serve people selflessly. What has truly stood out is the love and blessings of Gonodebota. Without their grace, we would be incomplete.
I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for making this year memorable.
It has been over 560 days, and Manipur remains a tinderbox of unrelenting violence.
With each passing day, the death toll keeps mounting and where is 'Prachar Mantri' @narendramodi? Globetrotting for photo-ops and PR stunts.
Let’s not sugarcoat this: the Manipur crisis is a MAN-MADE DISASTER engineered and exacerbated by @BJP4India!
A young boy from Konnagar lost his life today following a road accident, after BLEEDING FOR 3 HOURS WITHOUT RECEIVING MEDICAL ATTENTION, a consequence of the ongoing protest by doctors in response to the #RGKar incident. While the demands of the junior doctors are both fair and valid, I urge them to protest in a way that doesn't disrupt essential medical services. Allowing a death due to PREVENTABLE NEGLECT is tantamount to CULPABLE HOMICIDE. If the protest has to continue, it should be done constructively, with empathy and humanity, ensuring no more lives are put at risk through inaction or neglect. 🙏🏻
During her budget reply, which lasted over 100 minutes, the Hon’ble Finance Minister @nsitharaman made hundreds of FALSE CLAIMS but failed to mention Bengal’s deprivation even once.
The Union Govt claimed in Parliament that no state is being "denied any money." But even 138 Days & 3319+ hours later, @BJP4INDIA leadership has failed to provide a WHITE PAPER on MGNREGA & AWAS YOJANA since their 2021 defeat in WB.
The stress of being on BORROWED TIME is becoming more evident with every such cover-up!
This BUDGET is a complete failure with ZERO WARRANTY, presented by a FAILED FINANCE MINISTER OF A FAILED GOVERNMENT. Instead of tackling urgent issues like unemployment, rising prices and growing inflation, the BJP has crafted a budget to bribe its coalition partners and buy time before the government IMPLODES!
July 21st represents the courage and defiance against tyranny; a story of the people, by the people and for the people.
On this #ShahidDibas, as we honor our martyrs, we pledge to relentlessly fight for the rights of the people.
I deeply thank and honor the people of Bengal for showing the Bangla Birodhis, time and again, that Bengal will never bow or surrender under any circumstances.
Jai Hind! Jai Bangla!
With the blessings of our Gonodebota, a new chapter in Parliament begins.
I vow to protect the Constitution, uphold the sovereignty and integrity of our great nation and diligently serve the people of Diamond Harbour.
Jai Hind!
Vande Mataram!
Joy Bangla!
Last year around this time, I had the opportunity to participate in NABOJOWAR Yatra and traveled across West Bengal to understand the issues and challenges faced by people on the ground. Witnessing firsthand the hardships caused by RISING PRICES and the stoppage of MGNREGA dues deeply affected me. In response, @AITCofficial organized statewide protests and took the matter to Delhi to fight for people's rights. Thankfully, this was addressed in February, along with an increase in financial assistance through the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme to help families.
I am profoundly grateful to the people of Bengal for their trust and faith in us. The results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections reflect the anger and frustration of the people, especially regarding the neglect of basic housing rights due to the state-center conflict. We have committed to addressing this by December 31st, and I have already requested the HCM and relevant authorities of GoWB to prioritize this issue.
In light of some pressing medical reasons, I will be taking a short hiatus from the organisation. This time off will be an opportunity for me to humbly explore and understand the needs of our people and community. I trust that GoWB will act swiftly and leave no stone unturned to ensure justice for those in need.
The people of Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency lined up on both sides of the streets, braving the weather and the rains to welcome their beloved jononeta Shri @abhishekaitc.
The people of Basirhat continue to support Ma, Mati, Manush as we pledge to always stand beside them to ensure their unhindered development.
Today, Shri @abhishekaitc led a janasabha in Jaynagar and a roadshow in Barasat in support of our MP candidates, Smt. Pratima Mondal and Smt. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar.
We believe in the principle of unity in diversity. People have joined hands with Ma, Mati, Manush irrespective of their caste, class or religion. Our strength lies in the power of the people and we convey our heartfelt salutations to their resolve.
