Tbh i didnt think that timeline was weird while the series was ongoing. It seems wrong now, that the series is over snd seeing everything that happened, that it should’ve taken more time from characters, but it felt pretty natural with the pace it had 1/2

In naruto you could point that way to Sakura or Hinata. The 2 most important female characters to the MC who didnt do anything to live up to the importance they portray

Another thing is i wont feel the need to help someone who isnt trying. You help a grandma get on the bus when she comes close and grabs the handle. You do not see a grandma staying still on the bus stop and say “hey let me help you” when she’s clearly waiting for something else
