$ASTS may have looked at buying Iridium.
The new merger filing shows a mystery “Party B” entered due diligence, then walked away.
Tim Farrar thinks ASTS is the most likely candidate.
If true, ASTS was thinking much bigger than I realized.

$ASTS: The question is shifting from “Can they build it?” to “Can they monetize it?”
I would like to summarize and introduce a neutral article written yesterday with valid points.
Zacks article highlights:
• 6 BlueBirds launched in just 50 days
• 13 satellites now in orbit
• ~45 targeted by early 2027
• 2026 revenue guidance: $150M–$200M
• ~$1.3B in contracted revenue agreements + U.S. government awards
• Revenue expected to be heavily weighted toward Q4
The catch: ASTS likely needs ~45–60 satellites for continuous service in key markets.
So the next phase is simple: launch reliably, activate service, and turn constellation growth into recurring revenue.
For $ASTS, 2026 is becoming an execution story.

$ASTS I see a few posts saying, “If you have a problem with $ASTS, just sell and stop complaining.”
I disagree.
As a shareholder, you have every right to voice your opinion, including criticism. The company is not your kid. You don’t owe it unconditional trust or blind loyalty.
You can have strong conviction in $ASTS and still be dissatisfied with certain decisions, communication, or execution. Being bullish doesn’t mean you have to pretend everything is perfect.

🔴 Bearish — $ASTS Reddit Sentiment Daily Check
Bulls — Long-term believers still see AST’s technology/MNO positioning as differentiated, and some are accumulating into weakness. There is also optimism that freed-up Falcon 9 capacity could eventually help AST’s launch cadence. (Reddit)
Concerns — BB14–16 shipment silence dominates discussion. Management is being criticized for “overpromising and underdelivering,” while users increasingly question beta timing, constellation targets, first-mover advantage and eventual financing needs. (Reddit)
Community Takeaway — Mood deteriorated materially versus prior days: conviction remains, but execution frustration has shifted from impatience toward genuine skepticism of management’s timelines. (Reddit)

$NVDA is reportedly acquiring Hugging Face.
I believe Nvidia will eventually become one of the world’s leading software companies, a massive force spanning both hardware and software.
Whether that level of dominance is healthy for the broader market remains unclear. But if I use Nvidia hardware, I would naturally choose Nvidia software as well to maximize compatibility and minimize errors.
$NVDA went from almost -2% to +5% after earnings.
Same numbers. Different reaction after Jensen started talking.
Sometimes the conference call matters more than the earnings release.
$ASTS Daily Recap — Aug. 26 🛰️
• Close: $59.88, -3.43%, on roughly 7.2M shares.
• ASTS traded between approximately $59.43 and $62.01. Shares failed to hold $60 into the close, finishing near the lower end of the day's range.
• That matters technically. After Monday's sharp decline and Tuesday's failed stabilization attempt, ASTS has now closed below the psychologically important $60 level.
• There was no major new negative AST SpaceMobile operational announcement that clearly explains Wednesday's weakness.
• The broader market was relatively quiet, making ASTS's continued weakness more notable than if it had occurred during a broad risk-off selloff.
• I am leaving directional options flow out because I could not verify sufficiently reliable Aug. 26 data to characterize the activity as bullish or bearish.
Technical Takeaway:
Closing at $59.88 puts ASTS below $60 for the first time in this recent decline.
The immediate test is whether buyers can quickly reclaim $60 to $62. Above that, $64 to $65 becomes the next recovery zone.
If $59 to $60 fails to hold, the technical setup remains vulnerable to another leg lower.
No confirmed bottom yet.

@endless_frank Agreed. Just don't know what they are up to. Production-scheduling-ship-launch. Announcing where we are at should not be rocket science.
$NVDA delivers another monster quarter.
Revenue: $96.2B, +106% YoY
Data Center: $89.0B, +117% YoY
Non-GAAP EPS: $2.22
Q3 guide: $108B, above consensus
Gross margin: 75.0%
Most importantly, Vera Rubin is now in full production.
Beat. Beat. Strong guide.
At this point, the question isn't whether AI demand is growing. It's whether the market can keep raising expectations faster than NVIDIA can beat them.
