@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS Something I took away from the book “What to Say Next” is forgiveness and the idea of moving on from something even the past. Something that would stay with me is definitely the push and pull on Kit and Davids relationship.

I really did expect Kit and David to be officially together, but where they left off in a relationship is pretty nice. I also expected Kit and her mom to be on worse terms. I really liked this book!

@AsmaA_9393 @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS Well, originally they were polar opposites, David being isolated and kind of a loner, and Kit was considered popular! They slowly became friends after Kit’s dad’s car accident. But I feel the author is hinting to more than a friendship now.

@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS I would tell Kit's mom that time will heal. Obviously Kit would be angry but, I feel Kit would still have a part of her that still loves her mom. That over time everything will hopefully be like it was before.

It was when Kit's mom was trying to explain the reasoning for the affair. Just a part of that line feels so deep so many people in this story could relate to that line.

@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS The character I'm choosing is Kit's mom. On page 77 she gets out a bottle of wine, opens it and poured herself a large cup of it. If she would go to a convenient store she would probably purchase alcohol. After her husband's death she would try to maybe numb her sad feelings.
