My band director once told me that HS kids have less of a chance to make All State as a musician than they do to be recruited to play their sport in college.

Last year, I placed 14th and didn’t make Region Orchestra (to be fair, I had knocked a few of my teeth loose while warming up my pitcher about 2 weeks prior). Last night, 3rd Chair Flute!

Gonna get that area spot on December 7th at TMEA Region Band auditions!
