We're trying something a little different... bear with me, and maybe join in...
We wanted 4,000 fans at Victoria Road on October 24th, when the Daggers host Chesham. This season, attendance has been around 2,000 per match. On October 24th, with West Ham playing at the same time, we would typically expect to be a bit down on that figure. I want to change that.
Instead, we want to invite the entire communities of Dagenham, Barking, Redbridge, and Havering into the stadium — and tickets are ONLY £1!
However, at the Daggers, we don't have a multi-person marketing team or brilliant agency pals to help us get the message out.
At £1 to see the @Dag_RedFC , together with KSI!? It should sell itself. But thinking that would be naive. People's attention is constantly in demand.
So, we're seeking your help and enlisting a team of friends, fans, builders and hackers to help get this message out with us.
Join the first ever Daggers 4000 Hackathon, starting Thursday, October 1st.
What is it? It's an invitation to help sell tickets to the match — and teams that deliver the most new fans to the game can win a £1,000 cash prize, courtesy of our partners at Tixr.
Why "hackathon"? Because we're looking for teams to try, push, break, bend, hustle and hack their way into solutions that reach new fans.
Whether you simply get your extended family to sign up, or you can get the ticket link onto the front page of Sky Sports News... no bad ideas.
Sign up below and link in the comments. More info on the poster. And more info to follow.
I am not totally sure what's going to happen, but I look forward to finding out!
See ya out there. Happy hacking.

@diggines_23 It’s a bummer mate, Me Dagenham is going. Although my ears are going to appreciate you not screaming in the tunnel. Don’t be a stranger though mate, and all the best with wherever the future holds for you ⚔️⚔️
@iamtomskinner Come across this post, if I was more physically able I would jump at this opportunity. So many people don’t know what it’s like to do a hard day graft (me included although not by choice). If you know of something that isn’t physical let me know. Good luck
@BillinghamTown As a Dagenham and Redbridge fan I’m not sure why this has popped up on my feed but after the banter the media team have I will definitely be following. Let’s raise a glass 🍻.

So I’m getting excited, inpatient and anxious. @Dag_RedFC and @lee_allinson have brought in a new group of lads. @KSI has obviously had some input in the players. Let’s hope we start the season running. COYD⚔️⚔️🔴🔵
@MalcTheDagger@Dag_RedFC I’m with you on that one, there’s a buzz which is being created around the mighty daggers that I haven’t seen since league 2 promotion
