ngl i think people underestimate how much luck comes from just being seen
you don’t need everyone to know you
you just need the right person to randomly come across your stuff
that’s happened to me way more than i expected
i was talking to a founder recently
he told me he’d spent months building his product
then almost laughed when i asked how much time he’d spent helping people discover it
that’s when it clicked
a lot of founders aren’t losing because they’re building the wrong thing
they’re losing because they’re building in silence
i used to think marketing meant convincing people
now i think it’s mostly reminding people you exist
the best products i’ve seen weren’t always the best marketed
they were just impossible to ignore
the other day i was scrolling and saw a founder post about his product for what felt like the hundredth time
my first thought was
“he posts about this a lot”
then i caught myself
that’s probably why i remember his company in the first place
sometimes the thing that feels repetitive to you is exactly what makes you memorable to everyone else
i genuinely think there are thousands of products that should be way bigger than they are
they’re just being built quietly
great products deserve great distribution
i think a lot of founders confuse creating with marketing
recording a podcast isn’t marketing
posting one clip isn’t marketing
marketing starts when people actually start seeing it
working in distribution has made me realize something
the biggest bottleneck for most founders isn’t ideas
it’s visibility
they’re building things people would genuinely want
the right people just never hear about them
i used to think the hard part was making good content
now i think the hard part is making sure enough people actually see it
i’ve seen average content blow up because it got distributed well
and amazing content disappear because it didn’t
it’s the 1st of the month
if you’re building something, this is your reminder to hit publish
send the dm
ship the feature
launch the campaign
small actions stack up faster than perfect plans
@NWExplained honestly feels like we’re getting to a point where managing ai is becoming more important than doing the work yourself
curious how much of your site is actually ai generated now?
@CesareDadamo building in the content distribution space
helping founders, creators and brands get more eyes on their content through clipping and creator-led distribution
always down to connect with other builders
@manojeldios i think founders can still win without becoming influencers
but they can’t afford to be invisible anymore
curious what you’re building btw? always looking to connect with founders
@acadictive this is actually becoming the default workflow lol
curious, if you had to pick one model for the entire product building process, which one would it be?
@zdogmode honestly i think revenue matters more than savings
if you can reliably generate income, the runway number gets less scary
what do you think is more important?
