@NFX@NFX, here's a challenge: balance out some implicit age biases in current programs with a "Retired and still want to change the world" FAST program. I might be able to refer a couple people.
After 9 yrs building 3 #DataScience teams, #Rstats in production, is more fun than ever before! If that's your #sparkjoy, come join us here: https://t.co/zBA9WChr4I
#rstats pkg developers: if you've got a package that you consider stable (solid tests etc), believe would benefit others and you're proud of, please consider submitting it to CRAN (Having it only on GitHub & friends is only a short-term solution)🙏

To test #rdatatable on your machine, type https://t.co/luqI5TEASJ.table(). The test suite is always there in data.table unlike packages that use testthat. Sometimes it does show the odd problem (usually timezone or locale specific) -- please report.
@Caltrain , I just got bumped from the bike carriage with my electric scooter though there was plenty of room and I was not in anyone's way. What's your official policy on this pls? #NB329
Now is a good time to please test data.table-dev before release. Current grouping benchmark results for dev versions (including pandas, dplyr, dask, julia, spark) are at https://t.co/1JujkTWVfJ. #rdatatable
Decided to spend a couple hours coding in the hope of a modern and flexible logging engine in #rstats, then ended up thinking about and sketching the "Anatomy of a Logging" (tm) also writing docs for days 😜
Looking forward to any feedback and comment! https://t.co/GbT1uXfNX9
